Are you Northam's new Study Hub Coordinator?
Are you passionate about supporting education and empowering regional students to achieve their goals? RDA Wheatbelt is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Study Hubs Coordinator to lead the activity of Lumen Wheatbelt Regional University Study Hubs at the new Northam Study Hub based in Western Australia and wider Avon/Central Wheatbelt areas. We are looking for someone who can be based out of the Northam Study Hub and travel regularly in Avon/Central Midlands to manage the hubs, oversee staff, support students and coordinate outreach activities. The Lumen Wheatbelt Study Hub in Northam is a new addition to the existing hubs already in the Wheatbelt, based in Merredin, Narrogin, Wongan Hills and York.
The Lumen Wheatbelt Regional University Study Hubs are supported by the Australian Government through the Regional University Study Hubs program.
What You’ll Do
As the Study Hub Coordinator, you will provide study and technical support to students, guiding them through university systems and helping them navigate course offerings and study pathways. You will facilitate workshops, tutorials, and study skills sessions to enhance student outcomes while advocating for students throughout their academic journey. Additionally, you will lead outreach strategies to raise awareness of the hubs, drive student engagement, and build meaningful partnerships with schools, local businesses, and community organisations.
Leadership and collaboration are key aspects of this role. You will oversee the operations and outreach in the Avon / Central Wheatbelt Study Hubs in Northam, York and Wongan Hills, ensuring they remain welcoming and functional spaces for students. Working closely with local teams and Student Support Officers across the broader hub network, you will foster a collaborative and supportive team culture. You will also contribute to strategic planning, refine business systems, and promote the hubs through social media, newsletters, and student success stories to keep the community engaged and inspired.

A versatile professional with strong stakeholder engagement, community outreach, and organisational management skills. You have either completed higher education or have experience working within the higher education sector, equipped with the knowledge and expertise to support students, foster partnerships, and drive impactful educational initiatives. You thrive in dynamic environments and possess strong communication and leadership skills, coupled with a talent for problem-solving and relationship-building. A current Australian Driver’s Licence, National Police Certificate, and Working with Children Check are essential. Qualifications in management, education, or client support are highly desirable, and familiarity with higher education systems and community outreach strategies will set you apart.
