Job Description

We are seeking a Operations Manager to join our Fleet department. This is a permanent position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced team environment.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensuring that the fleet composition and number of vehicles match the type and amount of work available, also catering for the seasonality of our industry and changing customer requirements.

Facilitating and monitoring Return to Work programs for injured sub-contractors.

Providing leadership, support and guidance to the Operations Management team and sub-contractors.

Consulting with sub-contractors on disciplinary and training issues, ensuring they are recorded and filed appropriately.

Ensuring that our sub-contractor fleet has been trained in the Capital Transport group policies, load restraint, WH&S, fatigue management, manual handling, as well as any other training required by legislation and without risk to their health and safety.
