Role Overview
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll take ownership of the service delivery function - covering transport operations, customer service, and a team of account managers managing B2B contracts, relationships and client retention.

You'll guide the team, drive performance, ensure compliance, and bring a strong customer and commercial focus to the operation. With plenty of autonomy and support from a Branch Manager who understands the role inside out, this is your opportunity to make a real impact and grow into future leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee customer service delivery, account management, including sales, and transport functions
  • Lead a direct team of Account Managers, Transport Manager, and Customer Service Manager
  • Manage service delivery KPIs, compliance, and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Liaise with Production to ensure smooth flow from collection to delivery
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across service operations
  • Manage budgets, P&L reporting, and operational costs
  • Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports to create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams and customers
  • Drive change initiatives and support national service improvement projects

Candidate Profile
You're a strong, people-focused leader who understands what good looks like in service operations. You've worked in fast-paced environments, managed diverse teams, and enjoy the challenge of creating consistency and structure in complex settings

This could suit someone with experience in: Managed Services, Facilities Management, Commercial Cleaning, Logistics, Automotive, Service Contracts, Operations Management, Contract Management or FM/Service Manager backgrounds.

You're someone who has:

  • Led day-to-day service delivery operations
  • Experience leading teams through change and building positive cultures
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in service-focused industries - setting up the right frameworks & agreements, what does good look like?
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of commerical contracts or B2B agreements
  • Clear communication, and a calm, supportive & driven leadership style
  • A commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement
  • Managed P&L, budgets, KPIs, compliance and stakeholder relationships
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or similar are desirable
  • Valid Australian driver's licence (Company vehicle provided)
