Situated on the 47th Floor in the iconic Australia Square, O Bar and Dining's vast circular space
with spectacular 360 degree views, offers a multi-layered bar and dining experience; featuring a
central lobby bar, lower level lounge bar, restaurant, function space and private dining room.
An Exciting opportunity exists for an experienced chef to join a professional and dynamic
kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef de partie that is
looking to take the next step in their career .
You will be a motivated and driven person who displays strong management and leadership
potential, and you will be someone who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced and busy
environment. You will need to demonstrate effective time management skills, plus the passion
and flare it takes to be a sensational chef.and be able to lead a team of chefs.

Responsibilities
· Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen
scales
· Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
· Cook food in a timely manner
· Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
· Inform wait staff about daily specials
· Ensure appealing plate presentation
· Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
· Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove
dairy)
· Monitor food stock and place orders
· Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
· Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
· Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Requirements:
* FLUENT ENGLISH
* Cert III in Commercial Cookery + 2 years of full time work experience or at least 3 years of
work experience in lieu of qualification;
* Friendly with excellent customer service skills as it is an open kitchen and interaction with
customer are required.
* Polite, punctual and reliable
* Fast and efficient
