Are you a natural connector with a hunter mindset? We're on the lookout for a proactive and resourceful Business Development & Community Engagement professional to help grow a unique cleaning service catering to aged care homes, hotels, and other accommodation providers.

About the Business
This Melbourne-based business operates out of Lalor and is the only provider in Australia offering a medical-grade double-wash cleaning process for doonas, pillows, and similar bedding. Treatments include Anti-Dust Mite, Anti-Fungal, and Anti-Bacterial options. We operate primarily online, with excellent customer reviews and strong website performance, supported by an offshore digital marketing agency.

What You'll Do
This role blends sales with community outreach and would suit someone self-motivated, personable, and results-driven.

🔹 Community Outreach & Branding
Distribute flyers and materials across aged care homes, community centres, local sporting venues, and retirement villages.

🔹 Direct Sales to Businesses
Reach out to and pitch our services to hotels, motels, B&Bs, and accommodation providers to manage their bedding and curtain hygiene needs.

🔹 Agency Partnerships
Engage with local alteration and tailoring businesses to set them up as agents - much like how they partner with dry cleaners.

You'll also help develop marketing collateral (flyers, banners, etc.) in collaboration with external designers, and prepare business proposals where needed. KPIs will be in place to track progress across daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

What We're Looking For
✔ Strong interpersonal and sales skills
✔ Proven experience in business development, community engagement, or local area marketing
✔ Able to write clear, persuasive proposals
✔ Comfortable working independently and initiating outreach
