About the role:
Experienced in hunting brand new IT Consultancy / staff augmentation opportunities in the NSW health sector, you’ll be a creative and forward-thinking addition to the DWS team. With a self-starter yet collaborative working style, you’ll roll up your sleeves and generate leads, actively seeking and responding to tenders, and managing the end-to-end bid process for the health vertical in NSW; encompassing predominantly government health departments / public sector, with some footprint in private health insurers, private hospitals, and other key health providers.
We won't sugar coat it; this is a big role; it's demanding and challenging. However, in return for your hard work you will get the opportunity to help shape a new direction for our very well-established Sydney office, and the wider Australian business.

About you:
You’re a real 'go-getter' that has an impressive network of government and major enterprise scale customer contacts in the NSW health sector. Someone who isn’t afraid to put themselves out there and generate the big new leads through your contact networks. You’re all about building long-term client relationships and most importantly, you know the NSW health vertical well and have a record of success there. You appreciate technology and understand the core use of Cloud, Data, Applications, Solutions Development, and Integration along with key health concepts such as HL7 FHIR.

Your Career So Far
You’ll have come from an outbound new client sales or business development role, working with government health departments and tier 1 enterprise scale customers and in the NSW health vertical in one of the following areas;

  • IT / Tech Professional Service Solutions (not SaaS / products)
  • IT / Tech Talent or staff augmentation services

Your Skills and Experience

  • An established enterprise scale client network in the health sector, and currently working with government departments and major Tier 1 enterprise scale clients in this space
  • An understanding of technology solutions (Cloud, Data, Software Development, Testing, Automation, Digital Transformation etc.) and health concepts such as HL7
  • Previous experience working within a similar all new business development role in a professional services / consulting organisation
  • The ability to work in a consultative and collaborative way
  • Proven experience building a brand-new sales pipeline
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of the sales cycle
  • The ability to apply sales methodologies to a variety of solutions and clients
