We’re Westernport Automotive – a Repco Authorised Service Centre that’s been keeping cars (and careers) running smoothly for over 40 years. We're not a dealership or a chop shop. We're an independent, high-performing workshop where good techs get treated like humans, not grease monkeys.

We’re looking for a qualified technician/mechanic who’s over the drama, keen to work with a good crew, and ready for a change of pace, without losing momentum in your career.

About The Gig

Servicing and repairing all the usual suspects: brakes, suspension, cooling systems, transmissions, air-con, and more.

Using the latest diagnostic tools to solve problems that aren’t in the handbook.

Working across all makes and models - every day’s a bit different.

Staying ahead of the curve with tech (including EVs - we’ll train you up).

Doing RWC inspections (if you’re certified).

Lots of opportunities for growth

What We’re Looking For

Qualified (cert III or similar) and knows how to swing a wrench and use a scan tool.

Has a brain and uses it. You can work solo without needing a babysitter.

Someone who gives a damn about doing quality work.

Experience across different makes and models.

Can work independently without needing a manager breathing down your neck.

Good communicator who knows how to deal with both cars and people.

Bonus Points If You Have

RWC Licence

Air-con licence and repair experience

Strong diagnostic skills that make other techs go “how’d you figure that out?”
