About the role

Platinum Motorcycles is an on and off road performance workshop seeking an experienced Workshop Manager/ Motorcycle Mechanic to join our team in Keilor East, VIC. This is a full-time position that will allow you to utilise your extensive knowledge and expertise in Motorcycles, along with overseeing the efficient operation of our workshop and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

Workshop Management: Oversee daily operations of the workshop, including scheduling, parts ordering and management. Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures.

Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, performance and maintenance options, offering advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of mechanics, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.

Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair motorcycles, including servicing and mechanical support to the broader team. Applicants with dyno and suspension tuning experience are not mandatory but considered highly desirable.

Quality Control: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in line with company protocols.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in a similar role in the motorcycle industry, with a strong understanding of motorcycle systems, components and repair techniques.

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to effectively communicate with both customers and team members.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Valid Motorcycle license is required.
