About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our well-established team at Magnano Motors Pty Ltd in Springvale South, Victoria. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles including cars, vans and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations
• Keep detailed records of work completed and parts used
• Assist with the training and mentoring of junior mechanics
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Automotive Mechanic in a workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to continuous learning
