About the team
The Oncology and Dysplasia Research Centre offers women access to national and international trials and research projects in gynaecological cancer. The Unit provides a multidisciplinary model of care in partnership with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Royal Melbourne Hospital
About the role
As an Clinical Research Coordinator you will support the Gynae-Oncology and Dysplasia Research Centre with coordination of clinical research projects and data requirements.
A regular day will see you:
- Screening and enrolling patients into clinical trials and performing study procedures as per scope of practice
- Coordinating patient visits in collaboration with investigators and research team
- Preparing trial documentation and completion of trial databases
About you
You will be someone with sound interpersonal skills, who enjoys working as part of a team and under minimal supervision when required
You'll bring with you:
- A Bachelor of Nursing (APHRA registered) or a tertiary qualification in a health science discipline
- Previous clinical trials research experience preferably within oncology and/or women's health
- Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) and research regulatory requirements for conducting clinical trials
