Contract Length: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extensions
Hourly Rate: $70–90/hour (inclusive of super)
Security Clearance: NV1, or Baseline with ability to obtain NV1 may be considered
About the Opportunity
Join a high-impact Defence transformation initiative as a Change and Training Manager. Working at the heart of data enablement, this role is a rare opportunity to influence the way data is adopted and used across a large-scale Defence program.
This long-term contract (up to 3 years) offers the flexibility of remote work, with occasional onsite attendance in Canberra for key activities such as workshops, team meetings, training delivery and accessing classified systems.
You’ll be embedded in a hybrid team of ADF, APS and contractors, driving meaningful change while working on leading-edge data analytics and digital solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of tailored training programs and materials, building data literacy and capability in both uniformed and civilian stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead Change Management as part of a project team developing bespoke digital products, from identifying impacts and planning stakeholder engagement to embedding adoption strategies across Defence teams.
- An understanding of Defence transformation initiatives and/or prior Defence sector experience will be highly regarded.
- Familiarity with data analytics environments, including platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and legacy analytics systems.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to act as a bridge between technical teams, end users, and military stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- NV1 Security Clearance preferred, or Baseline clearance with eligibility for NV1.
- Comfortable operating in an agile environment with a strong delivery mindset.
- Brings both change and training capability, with a knack for empowering people in data-driven environments.
