Perf's Fabrication and Welding is a small locally owned business based in Muswellbrook who are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all our employees. We supply labour throughout the Hunter Valley and due to our continued growth, we are seeking QUALIFIED Industrial Painters/ Sandblasters to join our team.

THE ROLE

Working on sites around the Hunter Valley (Bengalla, Thiess Mt Pleasant (CHPP), Mt Thorley Warkworth)

Painting and Sandblasting mining equipment and Structurals

Abrasive Blasting

Industrial Spray Painting

Other duties as required

Loading and unloading trucks

WHAT WE OFFER

A competitive rate of pay - $45 + allowances ($2.50 Site allowance + 25% loading for night shifts and weekend work)

Uniform and PPE will be supplied.

Any training and medical costs will be paid for

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant Trade Qualifications (Certificate III in Painting and Sandblasting)

Drivers Licence

Order 43 Coal Services Medical (Not Essential)

MDG25 (Not Essential)

Working at heights (Not Essential)

Confined Space (Not Essential)

High Risk Work Licence - EWP, LF (Not Essential)

Experience in all aspects of Painting and industrial coatings

Be motivated and reliable

Leadership skills and ability to lead a team

Attention to detail

Forklift experience

Ability to work within a paint spec

Experience in paint testing preferred

Sandblasting experience preferred but not essential

Ability to work in a team or independently
