What We’re Looking For:
Fully Qualified Painter and Decorator
Ideally, you have around 5 years of experience under your belt
Someone who can lead a job and other workers.
We’re big on positivity. You should be too
Strong communication skills with workmates and clients are essential
You take pride in delivering top-notch results
We're selective about who joins our family. We want someone who clicks with our team, will bunker down to the long haul and grow with us
Somebody that values continuous improvement and are always open to new methods and upskilling
Ideally a non-smoker
Key Responsibilities:
Being able to run a job and make sure the job hits its targets.
Assess, sand, fill, smooth, clean, and prime surfaces for optimal paint adherence
Perform precise freehand cutting in, apply paint using various tools for a smooth finish, and skillfully apply caulking to fill gaps
Review job specifications, plan project steps, track progress, manage materials, handle equipment, and coordinate with clients and team members
Ensure work meets high-quality standards, follows client specifications, and address any touch-ups or corrections
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhere to safety protocols, properly dispose of waste materials, and store tools securely
Communicate effectively with clients, provide excellent customer service, collaborate with team members, and participate in meetings and training sessions
