The role of Administrative Officer, People, Capability and Culture (PCC) provides high level administrative support to the Office of the Executive Director and the PCC branch more broadly.
Your key responsibilities
- Provide accurate, timely and confidential administrative support to the People, Capability and Culture branch.
- Provide effective administrative services in the area of travel management, financial management, IT, information management and telecommunication, corporate to ensure compliance with departmental internal procedures, and financial delegations.
- Undertake routine financial administrative tasks including payment of invoices (SAP), reconciling corporate card and goods receipting against purchase orders in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide human resource support to PCC including induction, preparation of payroll and establishment paperwork using Springboard and QSS.
- Organisation and ongoing management of PCC eDOCS file paths, ensuring compliance with the General Retention and Disposal Schedule.
- Use a variety of software systems including the Microsoft suite of programs and databases, with consideration to accuracy of data and confidentiality protocols.
- Process requests for criminal history checks (CHC) and maintain the register on behalf of the department in accordance with departmental policy and procedure and with a high level of accuracy and regard for information privacy.
- Assist with processes for Novated Leases on behalf of departmental employees and maintain the Deed of Novation (DON) register.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date asset register and assist with purchasing, asset transfers and disposals, as well as the asset replacement program for the branch.
- Provide general administrative support and any other reasonable duties as delegated by the Executive Director, Executive Officer or the Business Support Officer.
