Position Title: Centre Admin Support Logan and Redlands
Terms: Contracted 12 month position 60 hours per fortnight
Classification: Level 3, pay $39.96 per hour

The Centre Against Sexual Violence (CASV) aims to provide a service that facilitates the recovery and healing for women, transgender, non-binary & gender diverse people, from age 12 and over
The Centre Support is an integral part of the service provision team at CASV. This position is required to perform reception and office administration within the guidelines of CASV’s policies and procedures, strategic plan, and operational plan. The position will provide support to the Manager, Team Leader Centre Support, Centre Support and Finance Worker across both services.in Logan and Redlands.
Duties and responsibilities:
Administration
maintenance of membership database;
facilitate member updates through email and social media.
reception and telephone duties as per centre requirements.
collecting, sending & processing mail
scheduling and facilitating office and equipment maintenance, and repairs as needed – (for example, car and building maintenance).
being the first point of contact for clients and visitors for both offices which includes reception and telephone duties as per each centre requirements
ordering office stationery and consumables as needed
maintain the organisation library.
utilise and navigate system programs including CANVA for creating event flyers and documents as required.
update CASV social media accounts
Provide support to the Manager, Centre support team,
covering holiday/sick leave of the Centre Support team where possible.
client evaluations;
preparation and typing documents;
managing service calendar, such as client bookings, car bookings and training room bookings
responding to phone calls, requests and correspondence on behalf of and at the direction of the Manager;
providing admin support such as typing minutes for internal meetings hosted by the CASV;
organising staff meetings, agenda and minutes
event support and group work planning and co-ordination where required.
other duties at the direction of the Manager Team Leader Centre Support.
Position Requirements
Admin experience in an autonomous administrative position and experience in a not-for-profit, community-based agency is highly desirable.
·Certificate III in office administration or community services and/or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams
Have an understanding of issues relating to violence against women and be comfortable working in a feminist Organisation.
Possession of a current "C" class driver’s licence
Possession of or willingness to obtain a Positive Blue Card.

Key Selection Criteria
SC1 Demonstrated possession of qualifications and/or experience relevant to the duties of the position.
SC2 Ability to work with minimal supervision under the general direction of the Managers as part of a collaborative team and closely with the Centre Support team.
SC3 Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
SC4 Well developed interpersonal, written, organisational and specific skills required as a first point of contact in a sexual assault service.
SC5 An understanding of gendered violence, sexual assault, knowledge of trauma informed practice and an understanding of how this may impact on a the worker.
SC6 Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of participatory decision-making, planning and evaluation processes, effective team practices and the principles of social justice.
