The Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth and increasing demand for high-quality IT support services, Sharp & Carter is seeking a full time ICT Support Technician to join our dynamic team based in our Sydney CBD office.
Reporting to the Head of IT, the ICT Support Technician will be responsible for providing frontline technical support across the business, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with IT-related projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping others, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Further responsibilities include
- Respond to technical queries and issues raised by recruiters, administrative staff, and management, ensuring minimal disruption to recruitment operations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to candidate tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, email configurations, and office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Liaise with third-party vendors to resolve outages or performance issues affecting recruitment activities.
- Set up user accounts, hardware, software, and permissions for new staff and contractors, ensuring they have access to all necessary systems.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a self-motivated and technically skilled individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding support. To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Prior experience in an ICT support or helpdesk role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in an IT support or services environment
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
