Qualifications & experience

● Diploma or higher qualification in Chemistry, laboratory technology or related field

● At least 1 years of relevant work experience

Tasks & responsibilities

Develop and refine fragrance oil formulations, ensuring they meet desired scent profiles and quality standards.

Conduct Quality Control Tests: Perform analytical tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.

Work closely with in-house perfumers to translate creative concepts into viable chemical formulations.

Ensure all laboratory instruments and equipment are calibrated, clean, and functioning properly to guarantee accurate results.

Keep detailed records of experiments, formulations, and test results to support product development and regulatory compliance.

Assist in the creation of new fragrance products by researching and testing novel ingredients and combinations.

Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure all products meet safety and labeling requirements.

Monitor stock levels of chemicals and raw materials, placing orders as necessary to maintain uninterrupted production.

Provide guidance and training to new laboratory technicians or interns on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.

Engage in ongoing efforts to improve laboratory processes, product quality, and efficiency.
