This role involves working in both small and larger teams to manage the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of specialist plant equipment, primarily focusing on Building Maintenance Units (BMUs), Height Safety and Car Parking Systems.

Our company head office is located in Tullamarine and has approximately 60 employees and a variety of specialist subcontractors.

Vertimax is a leading provider of Building Access Solutions and Car Parking System within the new construction and built environment. We are seeking an experienced project manager to join our team to deliver our current work in hand and support our continuous growth locally in Melbourne and may include projects in Sydney and Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management and engineering, be passionate about safety and providing solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Deliver projects on time and within budgets.

Support sales team in providing solutions and buildability concepts at time of tenders.

Provide engineering solutions during delivery of projects.

Achieve monthly revenue targets.

Collaborate with our team of experts to ensure client satisfaction.

Build & support site teams to ensure efficient projects deliveries.

Approve supplier claims and construct progress claims monthly.

Requirements:

Degree Qualified Engineer with 5 years minimum experience.

Proven track record in Project management.

Be able to travel interstate on some occasions.

Experience in the delivery of projects involving structural, mechanical, and electrical elements.

Strong experience working with Auto Cad and ability to produce and review working drawings.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong presentation skills.

Passion for safety and providing solutions that meet and exceed client needs and expectations.

Familiarity with Façade access Systems and Car Parking Solutions products and services is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be results-oriented and self-motivated.

The role will answer directly to our General Manager and be supported by an experienced administration and engineering team.
