In order to support our growing business, we are seeking a motivated and professional Project Manager to join our team of over thirty Engineers, Drafters & Manufacturing staff. The successful candidate’s role would involve all aspects of project execution - from client liaison through to commissioning.

About the role

As a full-time Project Manager at LGPM Process Innovation, you will play a crucial role in leading the delivery of innovative engineering projects across Australia from our Noble Park Office. Working with our design and engineering team, as well as other project managers, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director, and will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of these projects.

What you'll be doing

Developing and managing comprehensive project scopes, plans, timelines, budgets, and installation procedures.

Coordinating internal engineering and drafting resources, suppliers and contractors to ensure projects progress efficiently.

Meet with customers on site to provide assistance and develop possible solutions.

Estimation and development of quotations and tender submissions.

Identifying and mitigating potential risks, proactively implementing contingency plans to keep projects on track.

Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders and third parties/suppliers.

Providing regular progress updates to key stakeholders, communicating project status and addressing any issues or concerns.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Continuously seeking opportunities to optimise processes and implement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency.

Mentoring and supporting junior project team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Hands-on approach to equipment commissioning.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project management, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry.

Willing to travel Australia wide for client meetings, installations, or project commissioning.

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience.

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage comprehensive project plans.

Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Keen desire to learn about new industries and processes.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Project.

Inventor knowledge is beneficial.

Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering or project management, or previous experience in bulk material handling industries is highly desirable.

Able to work from our Noble Park office 5-days a week. This role is full-time in the office; we do not offer work from home.
