The role

As a Project Engineer / Project Manager at Metta Energy, you will be responsible for delivering energy projects from initial concept to successful completion. This is a key role within our growing team, providing an opportunity to drive strategic initiatives that support our mission to build a more sustainable energy future.

Key responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and implementation of energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to coordinate all project activities

Manage project budgets and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery

Provide technical expertise and guidance to project stakeholders, ensuring projects meet all regulatory and safety requirements

Continuously seek opportunities to improve project processes and procedures, driving innovation and efficiency

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar project engineering or project management role, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sectors

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, with strong project management and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical teams

In-depth understanding of energy systems, regulations, and industry standards

Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
