About the role:
Exciting hands-on Accounting opportunity in the rapidly growing aged care sector! Join a private equity-backed, franchise-based provider that’s expanding quickly. We’re looking for an Accountant to support the financial functions of our clients Home Care Package (HCP) network. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile and post Income Tested Fees for HCP clients
• Maintain and update client records in internal systems
• Collate and follow up on HCP invoices and claims from the network
• Assist in the preparation of Services Australia Claims
• Generate recipient-created tax invoices for fund distribution
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) for statutory reporting
• Monitor client accounts receivables and flag anomalies
• Liaise with external stakeholders when necessary
• Assist with the export of HCP data to Xero and VisualCare

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred)
• Proven experience in similar functions or roles
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills
