Melbourne High School is a State Government academic high school for boys in years 9-12 located in South Yarra. It is one of four academic select-entry Victorian Government schools.

About the role

Working with the Facilities Manager, the responsibilities of the Casual Facilities Maintenance Officer include general maintenance, minor repairs, groundskeeping, upkeep of tools and equipment, managing building security and access. The primary purpose of this role is to undertake general maintenance in and around school grounds and its Outdoor Education Centre located in Millgrove within the Shire of Yarra Ranges local government area (63 kilometres east of Melbourne's CBD).

This role will also involve assisting with building management works, including completion of scheduled maintenance works and helping to coordinate external contractors and trades.

Qualifications

Relevant trade certificate/s preferred.

Driver’s licence preferred

Mandatory requirements

Have or be able to obtain a valid Working With Children Check – Type: Employee
