Service Support Scheduler – Gibson Island

$105,000–$113,000 (Inc super) + benefits
Support scheduling and maintenance coordination across a dynamic plant environment
Brisbane-based role with opportunities for cross-site collaboration

At IPL, our people vision is to unlock our people capability and culture to create safe, inclusive and high-performing teams on the ground.

The Role
Based at our Gibson Island facility in Brisbane, this permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, coordination, and proactive maintenance scheduling. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll support the execution of both planned and reactive maintenance in alignment with DNAP asset care standards and site business requirements.

You will lead the effective use of scheduling systems, ensure accurate CMMS data entry and compliance, and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders — including vendors and contractors — to ensure timely, safe, and efficient maintenance outcomes.

You will also:
• Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules, workpacks, and dispatch notifications
• Support inventory tracking and asset condition reporting in SAP
• Liaise with internal operations teams and vendor supervisors for seamless workflow planning
• Manage multiple scheduling priorities across rolling work programs
• Drive housekeeping, safety compliance and quality assurance across maintenance planning
• Provide admin support, audit checklists, and risk documentation for upcoming work
• Lead by example with clear communication and strong relationship-building

What you’ll bring
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.

You will also have:
• Experience in scheduling, maintenance planning, or similar coordination roles
• Exposure to SAP PM or other CMMS systems
• Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project desirable)
• A keen eye for detail and a methodical, solutions-focused approach
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Confidence in dealing with multiple stakeholders and priorities
• Safety-first mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Trade or technical experience (advantageous but not essential)

If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn’t align 100%, we still want to hear from you.

Benefits to you
• We are a team focused on safety, inclusion and high performance
• 18 weeks paid parental leave for primary carer, 3 weeks for secondary carer
• Superannuation paid on unpaid parental leave, up to 12 months
• Salary packaging options
• Confidential employee assistance program
• Mental Health and Well-being program
• Options to purchase annual leave (Where eligible)
• Various corporate discount programs
• Workplace giving charitable scheme
• Opportunities for career progression through succession planning and development reviews
