Are you organised, caring, and looking to make a difference every day? Churches of Christ is seeking an enthusiastic Administration Support Officer to join our dedicated Foster Care team in Bundamba.
You’ll be part of a close-knit, purpose-driven team helping children and carers thrive. If you enjoy being the go-to person in a busy office, love variety, and want meaningful work—this could be your next role!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver daily administrative support including scheduling, client records, and reporting
- Help onboard new foster carers and support the coordination of training and compliance
- Liaise with caseworkers, families, and community stakeholders in a professional manner
- Manage data entry, communications, and record-keeping for child placements and services
- Assist with financials, rosters, meetings, and resource management to keep operations running smoothly
About You
- Certificate III in Business or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of admin or business support experience (human services a bonus!)
- Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communicator with a caring and professional approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A genuine interest in child safety and family support services
- Flexible and team-focused with a problem-solving mindset
Compliance Requirements:
- A current National Police Check, flu vaccinations, Working for Children (Blue Card), Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check - or willingness to obtain if required.
