Our client is a well-established leader in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, specialising in both commercial and residential projects and services across Brisbane.
The company operates from Brisbane's inner Eastern suburbs, the company offers convenient onsite parking and a modern working environment.
They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Service Coordinator with a strong background in the HVAC industry to join their team at their Murarrie office.
Primary Objective
This primary purpose of this position is to assist with the daily operations and scheduling for service work across Brisbane.
This is the ideal opportunity for someone who is a strong, confident communicator and enjoys operating in a fast paced working environment with an ever changing priority list.
Day to day responsibilities of this role will include:
- Managing the day to day schedule of our team of Technicians and Apprentices
- Manage all communications between Customers and Technicians.
- Maximise Technicians productivity and minimise customer wait times.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests and technician schedules.
- Understand site plans to be able to order equipment required for projects.
- Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors and suppliers c
- Liaising with customers to keep them updated on ETA’s for repairs and maintenance.
- Build relationships with suppliers to create the most efficient product procurement process
- Creating Purchase orders, ordering materials and access equipment
- Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring all parts have arrived prior to scheduling work.
- Assist in the preparation of service quotes, and other documentation as needed.
- Other Ad Hoc tasks as required

You will also hold the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Knowledge of the HVAC & Refrigeration Industry - Essential
- Previous experience in a similiar role
- Computer skills in Microsoft (Word, Excel)
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technology, follow and improve systems, processes.
- Excellent time management ability to oversee and push projects along and interact with internal and external clients and suppliers.
