Senior Solution Architect – Sales & Distribution Domain

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to work closely with a Domain Architect within the Sales & Distribution space. This is a high-impact role that blends technology strategy, architecture delivery, and stakeholder engagement across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop end-to-end technology solution architectures across a portfolio of business-critical projects.
• Support domain architects with portfolio management and engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business implications.
• Conduct early discovery, high-level impact assessments, and contribute to business case development.
• Guide initiatives through architectural stage gates and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Contribute to RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and provide architectural recommendations.
• Assist in financial governance by reviewing business cases, estimates, and plans.
• Oversee and mentor a small team of solution architects, designers, and engineers.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in solution or domain architecture across a diverse enterprise application landscape.
• Strong knowledge of asset portfolio and lifecycle management practices.
• Comfortable engaging with senior business leaders during the formative stages of an initiative.
• Skilled at developing architectural artefacts that span multiple business areas and technologies.
• Deep understanding of architecture best practices, governance, and quality assurance.
• Solid grasp of the system development lifecycle, from concept through to operational handover.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies and services.
• Familiarity with commercial business domains such as CRM, Personalisation, eCommerce, Pricing, and Retailing.
• Previous involvement in RFPs, vendor selection, and technology evaluations.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in aviation, travel, or modern airline retailing concepts.
