Key Responsibilities:
Leading and mentoring teams to provide quality support to individual with disabilities
Ensuring the effective operation of Day Program Services or Supported; Independent Living homes as applicable, contributing to continuous service improvement
Promoting safe work practices for the development of a safe and healthy workplace
Monitoring and manage staff performance, fostering a positive, inclusive and high performing team culture
Upholding and maintaining reporting practices against key accountabilities and NDIS compliance
Qualifications & Experience:
Cert III Individual Support (or equivalent) is desirable
Experience in the disability industry
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience
Skills & Competencies:
Working knowledge of the NDIS practice standards, Restrictive Practices and Reportable Incidents
Strong communication (both written and oral), interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Comprehensive understanding of the Active Support Model and how this model is implemented
Ability to demonstrate initiative and follow through on responsibilities and consistently deliver high quality outcomes aligned with team and organisational goals
