About the role
Balancing self-management and working as a team to operate Council's Community Recycling Centre. Daily operations include ensuring the facility is maintained and clean, directing of customers to enable the unloading and sorting of acceptable waste streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing and assisting with the unloading and sorting of acceptable waste stream received at the facility
- Undertake a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Waste and Cleansing business unit to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the care of the team.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Current NSW 'C' Class Driver's License
- White Card
- Previous experience working in an operational role.
- The capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the role.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently.

The Community Recycling centre operates 6-days per week. This role will require you to work 5 days per week, including Saturdays.
Hours: 6am-3:00pm
We are offering an attractive remuneration from $65,814 plus 11.5% Superannuation.
