Scheduling Officer

Newcastle Anglican | 50hours/fortnight | Part-time | Warabrook, NSW

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Scheduling Officer to join our team in a part-time capacity. In this role you will play a crucial part in supporting our services by coordinating rosters, liaising with internal stakeholders, and adapting to changing priorities.

About you?

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the scheduling of employees or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to use Data bases and Microsoft office suite programs, for example Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting Awards, ensuring scheduling compliance, industrial instruments and roster optimisation.
  • Demonstrated experience or commitment to customer service focus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • A friendly, “no problem” disposition when dealing with employees and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster.
  • Demonstrated time management skills and an ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
  • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of WHS responsibilities
  • Proven ability to work within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Highly developed teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated positive communication and conflict resolution skills

QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL:

  • Current drivers’ licence
  • NDIS Worker screening clearance
  • A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children)
  • National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
