About the Role
This is a 12-month, fixed term contract position working a 35-hour week (Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm). This position is located at the Ulladulla Administration Building providing essential administrative support to the City Development directorate of Council. Reporting directly to the Coordinator Administration - South, the focus of this position is to:
- Provide administrative and customer service support to internal and external customers of City Development
- Provide a broad range of administration support services for development and related applications for approval under the Local Government Act and Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979 and Swimming Pools Act 1992
- Process orders, notices and generate invoices
- Resolve a high volume of internal and external customer enquiries (phone/email/webchat/in person)
- Provide administrative and records support to City Development staff as required
- Process call back requests and customer complaints/action in Council's request management system

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Certificate III Business Administration (or equivalent)
- Current class C Driver's Licence
We are seeking a candidate with relevant experience in an administrative and/or customer experience environment. The ideal individual will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service as well as effective time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance competing deadlines efficiently.
