The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Breakfast Chef to lead our breakfast team. While our menu is simple, we operate in a high-volume environment where consistency, quality, and efficiency are critical.
This is a leadership role with responsibility for managing production, coaching team members, maintaining standards, and continuously improving our product offering.
Shift Times:
Sunday 10 am - 4 pm
Monday to Thursday, approx. 4/5pm start to 11pm–12am finish (evening shift).
Key Responsibilities
Lead the breakfast production team to meet daily production targets.
Ensure consistency, presentation, and quality across all breakfast menu items.
Manage team rosters, training, and daily task allocations.
Assist with menu development and continuous improvement of our breakfast range.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
Monitor stock levels, prep requirements, and ordering as needed.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergen management, and HACCP protocols.
About You
Experienced breakfast chef with previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of volume catering and efficient production systems.
Confident in recipe development, menu design, and production scaling.
Excellent food safety and allergen management knowledge.
Reliable, organised, and able to motivate and lead a small team.
Solutions-focused with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work evenings consistently.
