Your role:

We are seeking a highly skilled 2IC/Senior Medical Receptionist for our medical practice Jupiter Health CBD.

Our Clinic is a Mixed Billing Clinic.

This is a Permanent Part time position with availability 3-4 days.

Our Clinic is open currently 7 days a week.

Duties

The Second in Charge is responsible for supporting the Practice Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Medical Centre.

You'll work alongside the Practice Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, high-quality patient service, and a well-supported admin team.

In instances where the Practice Manager is absent from the Centre, the Second in Charge is responsible for ensuring the continued efficient staff management, administration and customer service.

Skills & experience

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in general medical practice

Ability to assist in the day-to-day management, direction and operation of the reception desk

Excellent communication skills including being an escalation point for Health Professionals and patient complaints

Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Ability to assist Practice Manager with the management of the financial performance of the Centre
