Part-Time Medical Receptionist – Hocking Medical Centre

We're looking for a proactive and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team in a part-time capacity. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting and genuinely enjoy helping people, we’d love to hear from you.

Rostered Hours (Non-negotiable):

Monday: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

✨ Your Key Responsibilities:

Greet and support patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner

Manage phone calls and appointment scheduling efficiently

Process Medicare billings and patient payments

Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception and waiting area

Perform administrative duties including scanning, filing, and mail handling

Replenish office supplies and ensure general upkeep

Handle confidential patient information with discretion

Support basic banking and record-keeping tasks

Adhere to clinic policies and assist with procedural improvements

Friendly and enthusiastic attitude with a strong customer focus

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Ability to work well in a team and independently

Efficient multitasker with excellent time management

Computer literacy is essential

Previous experience in a GP clinic and knowledge of Best Practice software is highly desirable

Must have full working rights in Australia

Access to reliable transport

Willingness to complete required training and onboarding
