The Opportunity

Our client is a Australian agribusiness with circa $1bn in assets, this is an exciting time to join their business as it's going through a high growth period.
This role is a key role within their finance team and will take responsibility for the Power BI dashboards and reporting.

The Challenge

Reporting into the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Being subject matter expert with Power BI, which includes navigating/managing dashboards and creates dashboards based on business requirements.
• Input, prepare and analyse management and financial accounting reports for businesses through Power BI.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets.
• Support analysis of performance, benchmarking and variance analysis to drive commercial decision making.
• Monitor, review and forecast cashflows for entities within your portfolio.
• Support Site Managers of responsible portfolios with financial insight on an adhoc basis.
• Contribute to regular investment performance reviews.
• Develop your understanding of responsible, sustainable agriculture.
• Project, policy, and administration support for IT, Systems, & Security, within the scope of the Finance Team’s responsibilities.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and some exposure to data visualisation tools such as Power BI
• 3-5 years' professional experience working for an established business and their finance team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated track record of building relationships with key internal stakeholders and senior leadership
• A 'can-do' attitude and someone excited to contribute to the corporate culture of the business
