We are currently on the search for an awesome experienced Finance Manager for our client based in Port Melbourne. Not afraid of offering up financial solutions and advice, you are a hands on, proactive, solutions driven individual, experienced in the art of financial management. As well an independent and autonomous operator, your tenacity and need to protect the overall financial state of the operation will see you succeed.
Being responsible for the day-to-day functions expected of an experienced Finance Manager, these tasks will include:

Reconciling accounts and keeping financial records

Processing payments and handling daily banking activities

Identifying data irregularities to management

Generating invoices and receipts

Preparing and lodging business activity statements (BAS)

Producing balance sheets, statements and other financial reports

Using bookkeeping software, spreadsheets and databases

Preparation of fortnightly/weekly pay cycles for both employees and sub-contractors

The successful individual will be:

Demonstrated experience working as a Finance Manager within a growing company environment

Proven knowledge of the construction industry is a distinct advantage

​​​​​​​Experienced in the use of Xero would be great!

CPA qualified

Wanting to work full-time on-site
