This business presents an exciting opportunity for a ‘hands-on’ Senior Finance Manager who is adept with dealing with the Operations team as they are talking to an Advisory Board. The business is seeking a financial expert to assist them through their next significant period of growth and report directly to the Managing Director providing advice on all financial matters.

You will be responsible for the accurate reporting of the Company’s financial performance as well as having a pivotal role with all financial aspects of planning, decision making, budgeting, analysing data and overseeing cost centres and profitability centres within the business. As a member of the Senior Leadership team the position will play a key role in ensuring a sustainable and successful future for the business.

Key responsibilities include:

- Reporting for Leadership Team and Advisory Board

- Cost and margin analysis and charge out rates for R&D activities

- Preparation of monthly financial data

- Review and analyse monthly financial data and project performance

- Preparation of project budgets, monthly forecasts and annual budgets

- Year-end reporting including liaising with bookkeepers and external accountants

To be successful in this position you will be:

- CA or CPA qualified with experience working in a medium sized organisation

- Experience in a ‘hands-on’ Senior Finance Manager overseeing the entire finance function

- Ideally have exposure to working with IT software in the local council/water authorities sector

- Have strong systems and advanced Excel experience

- Familiar with Accounting Software

- Impeccable communication with strong interpersonal skills and relationship building exposure
