About the Position
The City of Onkaparinga owns and manages four Recreation Centres, Noarlunga Aquatic Centre, Willunga Golf Course and two Tourist Parks located across our city. The Christies and Moana Beach Tourist Parks are ideally situated beside the beach and feature a variety of accommodation options including cabins, powered and unpowered sites, full camp kitchen and clean amenities blocks and laundry facilities. The Senior Guest Relations is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Tourist Park. Reporting to the Coordinator Golf and Tourist Parks, the position is responsible for providing customer service to park users and on-site supervision of staff and contractors. The role will be responsible for overseeing all bookings, staff rosters, stock control, ordering, social media, assist with marketing activities.
About You
Working as part of the Operational Excellence team you will have a strong understanding of Tourist Park operations. You will have the ability to deliver outstanding customer service and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Your exceptional organisational and administrative skills will be what sees you successful in this interesting and unique role.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Experience working in the Tourism industry, Tourist Park experience or related industry
- Proven experience leading and training a small team
- Passion and value for outstanding customer service and demonstrated experience in a customer service role
- Flexible approach to problem solving, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience working with computer-based booking systems and financial programs
- Proven administrative skills with intermediate experience in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
