We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team based in Sydney.

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations, including customer service, warehouse management, outsourced transportation, and import customs clearance. This role is key to ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer-focused logistics services for selected key accounts at Sinotrans Australia.

Key responsibilities:

-Customer Service Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related customer inquiries and issues.

Handle daily documentation and system operations in accordance with customer inbound and outbound order requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer requests, inquiries, and complaints.

-Warehouse Operations Oversight

Supervise warehouse staff and daily operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

Monitor inventory levels, manage stock movements, and coordinate regular cycle counts.

Implement and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational best practices.

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Oversee performance, cost, and service levels of outsourced transportation providers.

-Import Customs Clearance

Manage import documentation and customs clearance processes.

Ensure full compliance with applicable import laws, regulations, and documentation requirements.

Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse and or freight forwarding operations.

Possess warehouse planning skills with hands-on experience in WMS systems and operations.

Solid understanding of import customs clearance procedures and experience managing outsourced transportation providers.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Sound knowledge of local logistics regulations and policies, with a strong sense of compliance and safety awareness.

Experience with Cargowise system is highly preferred.
