About the role

Hampers and Gifts Australia Pty Ltd, a leading provider of high-quality hampers and gifts, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Regents Park, NSW. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for the physical management of inventory in and through the warehouse, and for ensuring the system integrity of reported stock and movement transactions. Part-time hours are also available during non-peak season. Full-time and supervisory responsibilities of casuals are required during the peak season.

What you'll be doing

Receiving inbounds, unloading trucks and containers, checking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records both physically and systematically in our enterprise software (esuite) and other applications.

Supporting effective inventory management, including stock takes and cycle counts, monitoring use-by-dates, and ensuring First-In-First-Out usage.

Accurately and efficiently supplying raw materials for production jobs, enabling continuous work for production team members.

Preparing and documenting inventory transfers between our Regents Park warehouse and 3rd Party warehousing.

Ensure the warehouse environment is safe, clean, and well-organised by performing light housekeeping, emptying balers, and reporting hazards and damages.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of warehouse operations by identifying, reporting, and resolving any operational issues or bottlenecks.

Coordinating and supervising the work of casual labour during our peak season in the months leading up to Christmas.

What we're looking for

Forklift licensed and experience operating warehouse equipment required

Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics coordination role

Interest and ability to supervise casuals, including training, directing activities, and holding them accountable for work and safety

High level of attention to detail, accuracy, process, and organisation

Well-developed computer skills, comfortable with Microsoft applications and Enterprise software

Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time, and complete repetitive manual tasks

Resilient and positive attitude when working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, challenging environment.

A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with team members

Adaptable and a fast learner
