The role
Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a knack for exceptional customer support? We are seeking Customer Support Specialists and Administration Officers to join our team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our client can respond effectively to increased workloads triggered by grant announcements in times of disaster.
What You’ll Do
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing crucial support to customers over the phone and via email, often engaging with individuals facing adversity or hardship. Working closely with a dynamic team of 20, you will collaborate with colleagues and your Team Leader to deliver top-notch customer service and administrative support, all while evaluating grant applications within well-defined parameters.
Your role extends beyond customer service to encompass essential administrative functions:
- Compiling and organising electronic files
- Updating and maintaining databases and work records
- Preparing work instructions
- Crafting routine documentation
Our ideal candidate
We're seeking individuals who possess:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service (whether face-to-face or over the phone)
- The ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational prowess
- The capacity to work independently, with a home office, reliable internet and your own modern computer
- Proficiency in using the MS Office suite
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning is a highly desirable asset.
