We’re seeking a Specification Business Development Manager who thrives on outbound prospecting, face-to-face engagement, and building a high-quality pipeline. You'll be the trusted advisor to architects, designers, and developers—both in person and virtually—ensuring PROBOND is the go-to cladding product across the nation.
This Role Will Suit You If You:
Are based in Geelong or Melbourne’s west, offering easy access to both our HQ and the Melbourne CBD.
Excel at outbound calls and appointment setting (expect to work the phones while in the office).
Present confidently to architectural teams face-to-face and run compelling CPDs over Teams.
Love building and progressing a robust specification pipeline using CRM tools.
Have strong technical aptitude and understand architectural and construction sales cycles.
Are proactive, professional, and driven by KPIs and results.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Prospecting – Use your 2 days in the office to drive outbound phone activity, securing appointments with key architecture and design firms.
Face-to-Face Engagement – Spend 3 days per week in the field with architects, designers, and project stakeholders, influencing specification decisions.
Pipeline Growth – Build and maintain a strong project pipeline in NetSuite CRM, tracking opportunities from concept to order.
Educate and Present – Deliver impactful CPDs, product presentations, and training sessions both in person and via Teams.
Support & Advise – Provide technical advice, samples, and fire certification support to help lock in PROBOND at specification stage.
Target Corporates – Influence national corporate brands to adopt PROBOND as part of their standard colour and cladding specifications.
You’ll Bring:
Proven experience in architectural, construction, or cladding sales.
Strong phone sales and appointment setting capability—comfortable making outbound calls.
Polished presentation skills and the ability to command a room or a screen.
Experience managing a structured sales pipeline and meeting activity-based KPIs.
Strong understanding of fire compliance, cladding systems, and design requirements is a big plus.
Tech confidence with CRM software, Teams, and Microsoft Office.
