Position in a nut shell:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be the forefront of the business, making inroads into the commercial and multi-residential sectors. This will be a field-based position with internal support from their showroom and a National Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities that will lead to new sales, with the focus on upcoming high end residential, multi-res, hotel and commercial projects
Utilizing your network of builders and developers influencing them with our clients new rage
Provide samples to builders and developers
Managing the process between developer, builder and preferred merchant
Leverage internal tools for project tracking and information
Represent the brand at industry functions & entertain clients in social forums
Provide market feedback for input into further product development
Ideal Experience:
Proven field sales experience specifically from within the interiors industry (best fit would be tiles, plumbing, tapware, bathrooms, appliances, kitchens, hot water sectors)
Relationships with leading Builders or Developers across the State
Experience in winning business across multi res, hotel and commercial projects
Knowledge of plumbing merchants would be useful
Stable career history
Hunter mentality
Ambitious, tenacious and driven with a real passion for delivering beyond the clients expectations
Candidates that have previously sold plumbing, heating, tapware or other high end interior products would be well regarded
Although is a client facing field based role - when not at client meetings our partner is keen for candidates to be “showroom present”. As such, working from home is not on offer at this stage. Offices are inner suburbs Melbourne
