The Role

We are looking for a data-driven Marketing Lead with a passion for growing a customer base through targeted marketing, and by creating a seamless experience for potential customers. You’ll be responsible for leading our performance marketing efforts – developing new customer acquisition strategies and enhancing outcomes from our existing relationships with lead aggregators and digital marketing, by owning, executing, and optimizing a variety of initiatives and campaigns across social media, leads campaigns, SMS, email, and remarketing.

The ideal candidate will develop and optimize key tracking metrics, and drive growth across a variety of marketing channels. This role requires hands-on expertise in performance marketing, an innovative mindset to develop strategies that introduce new customer segments to the business, and the ability to drive strategy, execution, and continuous improvement opportunities across existing digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Ownership & Execution

Design and manage digital campaigns to acquire and retain customers.

Drive full-funnel performance across:

Meta, TikTok & other social platforms (paid & organic);

Lead Aggregator filter criteria settings;

SMS and email campaigns;

Retargeting and remarketing strategies.

Lead Source Management

Optimise the relationships with lead aggregators to ensure cost efficiency and application quality.

Support and enhance our existing partnerships with third-party lead sources by building robust in-house lead generation strategies.

Relationship Building:

· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with affiliates and external partners.

· Identify and onboard new affiliates and strategic partners to drive additional customer traffic.

Growth & Optimisation

Identify new marketing channels to drive growth across additional customer segments.

Analyze performance data across existing channels to improve customer acquisition cost, conversion rate, and ROI.

Conduct champion/challenger testing on landing pages, creatives, and messaging to optimize the customer experience and reduce drop outs.

Improve funnel conversion, by iteratively enhancing identified pain points from customer engagement to loan submission.

CRM & Lifecycle Marketing

Build automated SMS and email journeys to nurture leads and re-engage existing customers.

Partner with the operations and product teams to identify high performing customer segments and align marketing approaches with lifecycle stages.

Goal Setting, Strategy & Reporting

Set, track, and uplift key performance metrics including CAC, CPL, CTR, ROI, and retention.

Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

Required

5+ years of experience in business development, affiliate marketing, or customer acquisition strategies preferably within the financial services or lending industry.

Proven track record of managing and optimising multi-channel customer acquisition, handovers and redirection.

Driven and self motivated by setting, reviewing and hitting targets.

Demonstrated success scaling an active customer base through innovative management SMS, email, and social campaigns.

Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Ability to manage marketing budgets and optimize performance KPIs.

Comfortable with data, with an analytical mindset and strong reporting skills.

The following backgrounds are considered beneficial, however won’t form a major part of this role:

· Experience with SEO, PPC, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other marketing automation tools.

E-Commerce, SaaS or a digital marketing agency.
