At Horizon Power, we're leading the energy transformation across WA - powering vibrant towns, remote communities, and critical infrastructure. As a Power Systems Officer, you'll be the technical bridge between customer funded project delivery and the unique needs of our remote networks. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and maintaining safe, reliable electricity infrastructure that makes a real impact in communities that rely on every connection.

Why You'll Love this role

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of customer-funded electrical infrastructure projects
• Create and develop design packages using MicroStation and other design tools to produce network layouts and schematics
• Partner with customers, suppliers, and contractors to scope, quote, and deliver projects, to ensure solutions are practical, safe and compliant
• Conduct site visits to assess requirements, engage stakeholders and ensure seamless project execution
• Procure equipment, and appropriately qualified contractors to ensure the safe, timely and quality completion of projects

What You Bring

• Proven experience with MicroStation or similar CAD systems for electrical distribution design
• Strong background in electrical network design, particularly in LV systems, poles and wires
• Demonstrated experience in Project, contract and maintenance management systems and tools
• Naturally collaborative, proactive and solutions focused - ready to jump in where it counts
• Electrical trade qualification and/or Advanced Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Passionate about regional development and delivering work that makes a real difference
