About the Role

Cape Dunstans is looking for an experienced IT Support Officer based out of the South Guildford office in WA reporting to the Systems Network Manager. The successful candidate will join a small IT support team, managing IT system, network and users, focusing on internal stakeholder support throughout their employment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and providing technical support to employees (level 1 & 2 problems) In addition to working with an IT team, you will often be expected to help other employees that don’t have the same technical knowledge, through help desk support or other means. Being able to communicate well will be a key part of successful day-to-day tasks

Managing Office 365 environment

Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts

Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware

Support mobile devices

Support wide-area private VPN & communications lines

Interface with vendors to repair and resolve technical issues

Skills Required

Communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in IT Help Desk/Service Desk Level 2 in Microsoft environments

Experience in Networking

Familiarity with backup and recovery Veeam software and methodologies

Proven understanding of a broad range of IT services
