About the Role
The Centre for Human Potential is seeking an experienced medical receptionist & intake coordinator to join our expanding team. The position is a part-time position for the right candidate. Shifts vary between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday.
You will provide customer service as a receptionist, report to the director and be supported by the experienced administrative team. This role will be the first point of contact for clients.
This role also involves high quality intake and assessment screening in order to allocate new clients to the right psychologist according to their requirements. The intake and assessment scope includes intake functions; receiving initial referrals, undertaking eligibility screening, and reviewing referrals to ensure the right level of care is provided.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Liaising with clients, psychologists, and team members
Warmly welcome patients to their appointments
Take new patient and general enquiries in person and over the phone
Handling a high volume of phone calls.
Appointment booking, scheduling and organising appointments
Maintain effective communication with all staff members and clients
Process payments and end of day reconciliations
Handle complaints and report to the practice manager where necessary
Data entry, mail and filing
Intake assessment, screening process and allocate to the right psychologists
Maintain cleanliness of the clinic and manage office supplies, stock control
Assist with clinic events
General office, administration, reception duties and money handling
