About the role

We are seeking an experienced Casual General Practice Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team at the Narangba Station Medical Centre. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our patients and team of healthcare providers.

What you'll be doing:

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments

Handling patient enquiries and booking requests over the phone or in person

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Assisting with the preparation of medical reports and documentation

Performing general office duties such as scanning, data entry, and inventory management

Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times

What we're looking for:

A minimum of 12 months General Practice Medical Reception experience is essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and Microsoft Office applications - we use Best Practice, Cliniko and Gentu software

Flexibility to work in a casual capacity, including covering staff leave and potential evening and weekend shifts

A friendly, professional, and empathetic approach when interacting with patients
