Normandy Wine & Grill is seeking a head waiter/ floor supervisor with Wine Knowledge.
What you'll be doing:
Supervise and coordinate the front of house staff, ensuring efficient and professional service
Assisting with reservations, guest relations, and any other front-of-house duties as required
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and address any concerns or complaints
Assist with the training and development of wait staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Monitor stock levels and place orders for necessary supplies
Responsible for cash ups and POS
Contribute to the overall success of the restaurant through effective leadership and a customer-centric approach
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year experience as a waitperson or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality industry
Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive, friendly demeanour
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food and beverage service, menu items, and wine pairing
Food safety and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification required
