About the role

THE COMMO is seeking an experienced Venue Supervisor to join our growing team in Geelong, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant venue, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service

Overseeing the setup, management, and tear-down of events, managing staff schedules and rosters

Liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to address any issues and ensure the success of events

Maintaining accurate records and inventory

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Providing leadership, training, and development opportunities for the venue team

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar venue supervision or management role

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills

Proficiency in using venue management software and tools

Understanding of planning, operations, and logistics

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences

Current RSA

TAB experience preferred
