Your Role
This is a full-cycle B2B sales role with both inbound and outbound responsibility. You will manage a pipeline of high-quality leads, run daily discovery calls, scope services alongside technical teams, and close deals across a range of regulated sectors. You will also be expected to create new opportunities through strategic outbound activity and relationship building.
You must be confident running structured discovery meetings, advising executives on complex compliance-driven services, and managing deals from initial engagement through to contract signature.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound & Discovery Management
Run 3–5 daily discovery meetings with qualified inbound leads
Conduct structured needs analysis, qualify based on ICP (industry, size, urgency, budget)
Map pain points to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, CPS 234, SOC 2, etc.)
Outbound Hunting & Pipeline Generation
Build new pipeline via strategic outbound campaigns, events, LinkedIn, and referrals
Target health, aged care, financial services, education, law firms, technology and SaaS, government, and critical infrastructure buyers
Develop relationships with CISOs, procurement teams, COOs, risk leaders and other decision makers
Solution Scoping & Commercial Advisory
Collaborate with internal consultants and engineers to design delivery-ready solutions
Develop and present proposals that clearly articulate scope, effort, and outcomes
Guide clients through service options, technical complexity, and commercial terms
Deal Closing & Contract Management
Own the sales process from first contact through contract signature
Lead pricing discussions and objection handling with confidence
Ensure clean handover to delivery teams, with all documentation complete
CRM & Reporting Discipline
Maintain daily hygiene in Salesforce: lead notes, deal stage, follow-up, activities
Report weekly pipeline status, conversion metrics, and performance insights to the CEO
Track lead sources, content ROI, and campaign engagement in collaboration with marketing
What You Bring
Minimum 3+ years in B2B cybersecurity consulting sales
Experience closing $50K+ and $500K+ service deals with mid-market or enterprise clients
Strong understanding of ISO 27001, Essential Eight, SOC 2, vCISO, penetration testing, CPS 234
Comfortable advising on governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Experience selling to multiple stakeholders: CISOs, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Boards
Strong proposal and commercial structuring skills (not just script-following)
CRM discipline and confidence working structured pipelines
Work Expectations
Sydney-based with 3+ days per week in-office at our CBD location
